baby got Nak

Well today was the end of our first official week of camp. We celebrated Kathy's last day at camp today with cake and ice cream. The ice cream was so frozen that even Anna struggled to scoop it out. I can only imagine how hard it would have been for Michelle. On another note Don's instructions to Kathy as she leaves for Europe for 3 weeks was to bring back a couple of single girls(assumably for Caleb and I) and a couple of single boys(for Anna and Michelle). Its good to see that Don is always thinking about us.
<-----Old paint, new paintl coming soon!!
Today we spent all day back on the wall, this time on scaffolding putting rocks onto the freshly painted Acorn and Paprika coloured wall. After hours in the sun, burns and bruises later the new wall looks really good if I do say so myself. While Luke, Rob and I got the joy of taking down, and rebuilding the scaffolding, Michelle was busy checking her email, I mean working with Anna and Colleen clean, getting camp ready for all its groups this coming weekend.
Caleb or Cable as he often mistakenly called was busy clearing trees, painting benches and putting the dock in the water! The brave guy even found himself waist deep in Nakamun water. We will let you know if any growths appear.
As we all have the weekend off, this will be the last post for the week. We will return again on Monday, with the start of a fresh week. Stay tuned for more adventures from Camp Nakamun.

Hey kris...when i said "you're going to have to write the blog today" i don't remember saying "hey kris..feel free to cut my inner being" and also..you know as well as i do that I spent some serious time on that scaffolding. I have bruises all over my legs to prove it. much love,

michelle

p.s. I told that Catholic man who had a crush on you that you were single...he says he really likes 'city and color" too.

Haha hey Michelle, its true that you did spend lots of time on the scaffolding doing just as much as me, I was referring to when we had to take it down though. I figured there were no creepy catholic guys hitting on you, so I needed something to bug you about.

michelle, reading the entry about you washing your hands 3 times after counting out money reminded me of this one day on that crazy island. i was sitting on your bed counting out money onto your bedspread, and you walked in, and i thought the world had ended. since that moment i have been imbued with the knowledge that MONEY IS DIRTY. who knows how many diseases i might have contracted by now if you hadn't shown me the light?
